Compensation Plan: Clerical/Paraprofessional

Pay Grade: 04   

Minimum Salary: $34,776         

Duty Days: 230 days per year

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

Under the general supervision of the Social Work Coordinator, organizes and manages departmental activities of the Counseling and Social Work Department and provides clerical services and Spanish language interpretation for the department, other staff members and district parents and students.

 Experience:
Three years secretarial experience, preferably in a public education or similar work environment
  

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

        Equipment Used: Personal computer, printer, calculator, copier, scanner, and fax machine

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interprets policy, procedures and data; coordinates district functions; maintains emotional control under stress

Frequent district-wide travel; occasional prolonged and irregular hours Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
